.
Just as I suspected. I'm not crazy about Hiroshi Abe with the shorter hair and the clean face. I rather like him with his hair grown out a bit and the facial hair. He just looks nicer that way. Oh, and it's kind of hot how he's so tall he's gotta bend down a bit to fit thru the doorways...LOL I've also realized that I don't like him in regular jeans or pants...he looks really really nice in a suit. AND...I really don't like him in sweaters. He just doesn't look good in them.
I was planning to put some episode screenshots but I realized they ended up being Hiroshi Abe screenshots :P
He's gorgeous...I'll probably end up putting up some more screenshots of him soon.

My Sister, My Love & Hero (The Movie)
.
Got done watching "My Sister, My Love" and "Hero", the movie continuation of the drama series.
Hero was great. If you've seen the drama, this won't disappoint. One thing I didn't like though is Amamiya's short hair. I liked her hair from the original series. Other than that, Abe Hiroshi was just gorgeous as usual...I've never seen that man look bad. Uh..he's not that great with the really short hair but I'll take him anyway :o)
My Sister, My Love was very good. Left me wondering how many cases like this there really are. At first I was intrigued and then it was exciting, due to the whole taboo-ness of it...then it was a little gross. Then again, if Matsumoto Jun was my brother...hah all bets are off. He's not very attractive in this movie but that's okay. He's a great actor and so was the girl who played his sister, Iku.
Next up, "At Home Dad" with Hiroshi Abe. I'm looking to watch everything with him in it that I can get my hands on. "At Home Dad" is pretty self explanatory. I'm guessing Hiroshi is the dad that stays home in this drama. Will try and post a short summary and some screenshots after I watch the first episode.

Screenshots: Dragon Zakura (Episode 3)
Finally finished watching Dragon Zakura! WOW..!! This is my favorite so far! I've got a crush on Yamashita Tomohisa (Yajima Yosuke); that boy has such delicious looking lips...hehehehe.
Kind of young..25. Still young enough to be my kid but oh well.
Next for me is a movie called Aoi Tori (Blue Bird). Starring Abe Hiroshi as a teacher again. He's a sub for a class and he's got a stutter. I'll probably watch it tomorrow.
In a few days I'm going to put together a little thing for the stars of Dragon Zakura.
Here are the screenshots for episode 3. The first 6 are from the credits. The rest are in no particular order. I'm not going to put anymore screenshots after these. Sorry for the extra pics of Abe Hiroshi...he's absolutely gorgeous...beautiful eyes, lips..and he's nice and tall at 6'2" AND...I like the crows feet he gets when he smiles. Mmmm... He hardly smiles in this drama..poo.

Dragon Zakura - Episode One
.
So, Abe Hiroshi is a lawyer sent to Ryuuzan High School because it's about to go bankrupt. He's sent there to pretty much close up the school. This is the worst school with none of the kids motivated enough to want to go on to college. Anyone going to that school has given up making something of themselves. Abe Hiroshi, as Sakuragi Kenji, comes up with this plan he is hoping will make him rich and famous. During a meeting, he tells the faculty that he has a plan that will send 5 of Ryuuzan's students to "Todai" (University of Tokyo or "Tōkyō Daigaku", Today for short). University of Tokyo is the most prestigious school in Japan. Of course, everyone thinks he's absolutely nuts to think he can get anyone from that school into Todai. He announces ho the first student to be accepted will be. The teachers aren't convinced. Sakuragi asks for a volunteer to teach the class of special students and nobody wants to do it so he tells them he will do it himself.

Better screenshots for next episode.

Done With HERO
.
Loved HERO. Highly recommend it. Now that I've seen the 11 episode drama, I have to wait until I have the SP episode. I have the movie ready to watch after I'm done with the SP episode. In the meantime, I'm going to go start watching "Dragon Zakura" with Abe Hiroshi in it.
Posting pics of my newest guy, Kimura Takuya. I've also got a few of Abe Hiroshi as well.
KIMURA TAKUYA:
ABE HIROSHI:
And that does it for now. Off to go watch "Dragon Zakura". Will have some screenshots of the first episode and then a few of Abe Hiroshi and of course any news guys I see... :o)

Hero - Episode One
.
So, the next drama is Hero. It's from 2001. The story is about this guy, Kohei Kuryu, who never finished junior high but went on to get his GED and then manages to pass the bar exam and becomes a prosecutor. He's got his own style..he doesn't dress like a lawyer (T-shirt and overalls?) like all the others at the prosecutor's office. He's clever though.
I'm watching this one cuz someone told me about the movie once and it sounded interesting. I had gotten my hands on the movie but it didn't have subtitles. What a drag. Then I saw that Abe Hiroshi is in it and mmm...I knew I had to see it. Abe Hiroshi is muah...hot. Also in this drama is Kohinata Fumiyo who was Yonemori Shomei, from "Ruri no Shima".
First episode had 2 cases. One was about an underwear bandit. It was funny watching Kohei figure out what really happened while everyone has already formed an opinion.
Off to watch episode 2 tonight.

Waters (Gigolo Wannabe)
Only watched this movie cuz Oguri Shun is in it. I'll watch anything with him in it. I noticed Narumi Riko (Ruri from the drama "Ruri's Island") was in it. She's such a cute girl. And I also discovered a new cutie,
Story is about 7 guys.
One is a street performer (Oguri Shun).
One was a banker.
One is a married man who is an interior coordinator.
One was a businessman.
Two were basketball players.
New cutie is on the right. Not a great picture but...he looked good in his tux. There's a group pic below with him in the tux. He's the one on the far right.
They all went to find jobs as hosts. They arrive on their first day for work and are met by an old man and his granddaughter, Chika (Narumi Riko).
The grandfather, who is the owner of the club, "Dog Days", tells the boys that the manager he hired ran off with their deposits. The owner feels bad for them and he tells the boys they can run the club. It turns out that Chika has a heart condition. She needs a transplant that she can only get overseas. It would cost 10 million yen for that and they just don't have the money.
After the place is almost destroyed by a typhoon, the boys redecorate the place and plan to make the 10 million yen for Chika.
It turns out to be a slightly cheesy movie but the twist in it, the fact that Oguri Shun and Narumi Riko are in it, AND the discovery of a new boy, saves it with 3 KS.

Dear Doctor (again)
.
Done. After reading the summary that came with the movie from where I got it, I can't agree on it. Summary said there was a young doctor who felt he didn't belong in such a remote place but that he begins to learn things with the village sensei which he never would have learned in medical school. The young sensei was talking trash to a friend (on the phone) but I didn't get the feeling that he wasn't happy about where he was going. Then again, since I don't understand Japanese, the subtitles may not have translated all that he was saying. So....it's possible I missed something. He did learn things with the elder sensei that he would not have learned at any hospital or medical school. Elder sensei was beloved by all the villagers and he knew all about them.
One of the elder sensei's patients is a woman whose daughter is a doctor in Tokyo. She's been having stomach problems and elder sensei's diagnosis is an ulcer. He spends a lot of time with her since she appears to be lonely.
One night, the elder sensei reveals something about himself to the younger sensei which changes everything.
The movie begins in the present and then it switches to the story which takes place in the past. Every once in a while it moves forward. The local police are asking questions about Dr. Ino (the elder sensei) and then it goes back to the past and eventually it goes back to the part where the movie started.
I have to give it 2 KS. It fell a bit flat for me. It was a good story but there was nothing special about it. The end was disappointing. It could leave the door open for a sequel but it probably wasn't intended that way.
I recognized the actor Eita, the younger sensei. Eita was also in the drama "Last Friends". Also in the movie was Yutaka Matsushige, who was in Bloody Monday. After looking him up, I see he was in both Crows Zero movies. How did I miss that? He was probably a cop....again. Anyway, that's it. Going to go finish watching Waters (Gigolo Wannabe).
