Found someone who does a great job reviewing and I'll post as many of +Sarah Lantz's reviews as I can. Just reading this one earlier today, made me add "Ghost" to my list of dramas I need to watch!
Review: Ghost
Ghost is one of the best KDramas I've ever seen. I was fresh out of "Two Weeks," looking for something with action and suspense, but got so much more. There are good cops, dirty cops, and a superhero hacker! And of course, a good bit of sexual tension.
The main attraction is Kim Woo Hyun (played by So Ji Sub of "The Master's Sun"), on a die-hard quest to reveal serious corruption. He and his partner, Yoo Gang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee) work in the cyber investigation team. They're tipped off that a famous hacker (Daniel Choi) might be behind the apparent suicide of a young actress (Esom).
Looming behind it all is the megacorporation, Sekang, headed by the mysterious Cho Hyun Min (Uhm Ki Joon, Scent of a Woman). And I need to mention my favorite character and secondary lead, "Crazy Cow," (Kwon Hyuk Joo), because the plot has a serious bromance and this was my favorite dude. He was out of his f*cking mind.
But if the action and mystery alone aren't enough for you to watch this show, there's more:
-An entire episode devoted to the performance pressure on high schoolers. Enough to drive them to murder. Or is it suicide? Either way, it's a necessary nod to what those poor kids go through on a daily basis.
-A phenomenal soundtrack (as a musician, I'm super picky with that stuff)
-Nothing felt like "filler." The entire show was edge-of-your-seat
-The Phantom of the Opera is featured
And finally .... <drumroll please....>
-A Body Swap!
What else do you need?? Give this show a try. The acting is amazing. Nothing is as it seems. Except for maybe Crazy Cow:)
