Episode 03 ~ Boku no Ita Jikan ~ 僕のいた時間 ~ The Hours of My Life
OMG!!! Episode 3 was great. The scene where he's talking to his doctor about his diagnosis...and especially at the end when he's home eating dinner and everything he's been holding in comes flowing out. OMG...broke my heart. I can't wait for episode 4!

Xing Fu Di Mian Tao ~ 幸福的面条 ~ Happy Noodle
I had never watched a C-drama before I decided to watch "Happy Noodle". Only reason I wanted to watch it was because Yoon Si-Yoon was in it. I started to watch the first episode until I realized Si-Yoon's part was dubbed. I suspected it would be but I was really hoping it wasn't. I was disappointed anyway. I guess that pretty much turned me off because I was looking forward to hearing his voice. That face and that voice *SIGH*...
Today I decided to try again. I had my hands full with J-dramas and I wasn't looking to watch any K-dramas yet but I found "Pretty Boy Next Door" (DF kept advertising it all over the place...how could I resist?) and that's where I fell for Si-Yoon. That was all it took for me to get into K-dramas. I'm pretty sure though that if I watch "Happy Noodle", I'm not going to get hooked on C-dramas. At least I hope not.
So..."Happy Noodle" is the story about noodle chef Jiang Xiu Can (Yoon Si-Yoon) who enters a noodle eating contest in order to win a ticket to Hanzhou so he can find his father. That's all I remember from watching the first time. Going to watch episode one in its entirety and then I'll post how it went.
In the meantime, screenshot from episode 1...

Episode 02 ~ Boku no Ita Jikan ~ 僕のいた時間 ~ The Hours of My Life
I was so happy to get my email from DramaFever telling me episode 2 of "Boku no Ita Jikan" was available. Then I was VERY disappointed to find out it's available only to premium members! I already pay for Hulu+ and I'm on a budget so I can't afford to pay for DF as well so I had to watch it in less than HD quality.
Watch "Boku no Ita Jikan" on Gooddrama.net!
I didn't have time for screenshots but I will tell you there are 2 scenes of Haruma in the shower :) I may go back and watch again to get screenshots...
After watching this episode, I think we're going to have to get the tissue boxes ready for episode 3.

End of Pretty Man
I wasn't very happy about the end of Pretty Man. Yes, everything was tied up together nicely but it was too much info in so little time. It would have been nice to see them maybe devote an episode or at least half an episode to showing more of how the relationships came about instead of just showing one guy meeting girl and his eyes glitter so you know he's in love. Nothing else is said about it. The only thing that was sure was that Ma Te and Bo Tong would end up together. That's the only relationship that they bothered to spend more than 2 minutes on. It was still a great drama to watch.

Episode 01 ~ Boku no Ita Jikan
The first few minutes will tell you what the drama is all about. As usual, I won't go into too much detail about the episode. I'll say a few things about some scenes and I'll leave you to watch it. I don't want to give away any key things in my enthusiasm for the show!
As I get more into the story, I can see where this is going. Takuto's family stays at the apt his parents pay for and the younger brother will be staying there as well if he gets accepted into the medical school he's applied for. Takuto has had his choice of 2 rooms but his mom asks him to give it up for his little brother so he can be comfortable while studying. Dutiful son that he is, Takuto agrees despite the look he has on his face.
Takuto's father suggests he go work at an office in the hospital they own (I think they own it...) and tells him he can become the office manager someday. Takuto declines the offer and says he'd rather find a job on his own. The father becomes noticeably irate and tells him it's better to have a job with a company people know instead of one nobody knows. With that, he walks out and Takuto becomes angry.
Screenshots before I end up telling more and giving some stuff away!
Boku no Ita Jikan ~ 僕のいた時間 ~ The Hours of My Life
DramaFever has a new J-drama out staring Haruma Miura. Looks as though it will be along the lines of "One Litre of Tears" (Itchi Ritoru Namida) and "Crying Out Love In The Centre of The World" so get out your box of tissues.
Haruma Mirua stars as Takuto Sawada, a university student who finds out he has Lou Gherig's disease.
I am looking forward to seeing his performance in this drama because I think he's a great actor and will do a great job. I hate dramas that make me cry but they're so good... I was going to continue with my K-dramas today but that is on hold so I can watch episode 1 of "Boku no Ita Jikan".
*SIGH* He's just so stunning...

Episode 13 ~ 예쁜남자/Yebbeun Namja/Pretty Man/Bel Ami
WHOA!!! Episode 13 just blew me away! I DID NOT see that coming! Yes, it was probably easy for some people to figure out what was going on but I have to admit, that unless a story line is very obvious, I'm not going to use a lot of brain power to figure out what is coming next. That being said...WOW...
I actually played out a few scenarios in my head in the episodes leading up to this one but I wasn't even close to where the story went in this episode. I watched it last night but I'm still stunned!
Funny scene in this episode when Ma Te kicks David's car and sets off the alarm. Unbeknownst to Ma Te, the car has a black box that will record what is going on outside via the back window. The camera gets a shot of Ma Te running away. I couldn't stop laughing at this. I had to rewind it and watch it twice...hilarious!!
Lots of nice shots of Jang Keung-Suk (Ma Te) in this episode.
