Unfair

While I was looking up a new J-movie to watch, I came upon a DVD cover that had a picture of a girl from "Tsuki no Koibito".  I looked it up just to make sure and it was her.  The movie was "Unfair" which was the movie made after the J-drama series of the same name (of course).  I LOVED Ryoko Shinohara in "Tsuki no Koibito" so before I got the movie, I had to get my hands on the series.

I'm watching the first episode now and so far she is awesome.  I also noticed that Terajima Susumu is in it.  All the roles I've seen him play are gangster/mafia types.  It's great to see him in the role of police chief!

Eita ("Last Friends") is also in it as Ando, Ryoko's partner.

Found some pics of Ryoko.  Will get some screenshots when I can.

Latest Abe Hiroshi drama showing now...

Just saw that Abe Hiroshi is in a drama currently running now.  "Shiawase no Kiroi Hankachi"

The synopsis for this one...

Set in Hokkaido, revolving around an ex-convict named Shima Yusaku (Abe) who has just been released from prison.  Along with two young strangers that he meets, he sets out on a journey back to where his wife is, uncertain of what awaits him.

I found someone who uploaded it but it's still too early to expect any subtitles with it so I'm going to have to wait.  Damnit.  If only I knew enough Japanese to make out the jist of the story without the subtitles :(

Hi wa Mata Noboru

"Hi wa Mata Noboru" will be the next drama I watch after "First Kiss".  Miura Haruma is in it; which is the only reason I'm going to watch it.  I also found "Jiu" which has Shirota Yu.

Few years ago I started watching "Shiawase ni Naritai!" and I don't think I ever finished it.  I think I was almost done and for some reason, I never did.  I found all 10 episodes but the only episode that seems to be available is of course, the finale.  I'm hoping the other 9 will be available at some point somewhere between watching "First Kiss", "Hi wa Mata Noboru", and "Jiu".  Actually, I don't think I will finish "Jiu" because there are 9 episodes but subs only for the first 6 of them.

In case you didn't notice, I've added a link to get to my blog about J-Movies.  I'm not planning on talking too much about them...maybe a few lines about what the movie is about before I watch and what I thought afterwards.  I don't like to give a synopsis afterwards because I tend to tell too much.  I'm updating the J-Movie blog for the next 2 weeks; I'll be inputting the movies I remember watching.

I've already started watching some of "First Kiss" but I've detoured to watch 2 movies. This week I will watch "First Kiss" and maybe one night I'll watch the next movie up, "Parade".
